Pease Pudding
Pease Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. dry split peas, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, 2 c. water and 4 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Wash peas thoroughly.
Bring water to a boil and drop peas in. Reduce heat and simmer until peas can be mashed easily (about 1 hour).
Remove from heat and mash well to a purΓ©e.
Return peas to the pan and add salt, butter and seasoning, stirring constantly.
Transfer to a serving dish.
Serve warm.
