Pear Cake
Pear Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick margarine, creamed, 2 c. sugar, 3 eggs, well beaten, 1 c. pear preserves, drained and 1 c. pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In large bowl, cream butter and sugar together.
Add eggs, pears, cherries and nuts.
Sift together 3 times the cinnamon, nutmeg and flour.
Add to mixture alternately with buttermilk to which soda has been added.
Pour in well-greased Bundt or angel food pan.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
