Peanut Butter Kisses
Peanut Butter Kisses is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. granulated sugar, 1 c. packed brown sugar, 1 c. shortening, 1 c. peanut butter and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Cream the sugars, shortening and peanut butter. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to mixture and beat well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in additional granulated sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 8 minutes. Remove from oven.
Press a milk chocolate candy in center of each warm cookie. Return to oven and bake for 3 more minutes.
Makes 6 to 7 dozen cookies. Stores well.
