Sugar, corn syrup and water in medium saucepan and stir well. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Continue to boil to soft ball stage. Add nuts.

Boil until mixture turns dark. Remove from heat and add vinegar, salt and baking soda. Stir well and pour onto buttered cookie sheet.

Let cool and break into pieces.
