In a saucepan combine corn syrup, water, and salt.

Cook over medium heat to 300Β° or "crack" on candy thermometer.

Stir in butter, baking soda, and vanilla.

Next pour in peanuts and remove from heat.

Pour onto cookie sheet sprayed with Pam and spread thin with spatula.

Cool and break in small pieces.
