Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 2 1/2 c. peanuts, 1 tsp. water, 1 c. light corn syrup and 1/2 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine sugar and syrup in Dutch oven; cook over low heat until candy thermometer registers 300Β°.
Remove from heat; stir in soda, water and vanilla.
Spread mixture onto a warm buttered 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan.
Allow peanut brittle to cool; break into pieces.
Yields about 2 pounds.
