Peanut Brittle
Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 1 c. light karo, 1/2 c. water, 1 lb. raw peanuts and 1 tbsp. oleo, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine sugar, syrup and water in large saucepan or Dutch oven.
Cook over low heat until 230° to 234° on candy thermometer. Add peanuts.
Stir constantly until thermometer reaches 290°. Remove from heat.
Add remaining ingredients.
Mix well.
Spread onto buttered pan; cool.
Break into pieces.
