Peaches Stuffed with Almonds
Peaches Stuffed With Almonds is an easy dinner. Made with 6 large firm fresh peaches or 12 halves canned peaches, 1 tbsp. chopped glazed orange peels or citron, 2 oz. toasted almonds, 3 oz. powdered sugar and 1/2 c. dry sherry, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Peel, pit and halve fresh peaches.
Chop and pulverize almonds until mealy; add half the sugar; mix well.
Add orange peel or citron; blend.
Then fill peach halves.
Place in baking pan. Sprinkle with rest of sugar; pour in sherry.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes.
Serve warm.
