Mix butter, flour, baking powder, salt and 2 tablespoons sugar with pastry cutter until like corn meal. Save 1 cup of this for topping.
Pat the rest into the bottom of an 8-inch square pan. Place peaches, cut into slices, over crust. Sprinkle with 7/8 cup sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Bake 20 minutes at 400Β°. Mix egg yolks and sour cream.
Pour over kuchen and bake 30 minutes more.
Cool.
Good warm or cold.
