Peach Cobbler
Peach Cobbler is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 c. crisco, 1/2 c. milk and dash of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Add the 1/2 cup sugar to the peaches and boil.
Drain peaches. Add 1 1/4 cups sugar to peach juice and boil.
Melt 1 stick margarine in a 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
Cut in shortening.
Add milk.
Stir enough to mix.
Roll out on a floured board to 1/8-inch thick.
Spread peaches on dough.
Roll up like a jelly roll.
Slice into 1-inch pieces and lay in buttered dish.
Pour sugar and juice over slices.
Bake at 400Β° for 45 minutes, or until brown.
