Pat's Potato Soup
Pat'S Potato Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 potatoes (small to medium), diced, 2 to 3 buttons garlic, 6 tbsp. butter, 1/2 c. water plus 1 tbsp. flour (for thickening) and 1 small onion, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Use 2-quart pan.
Cook potatoes, onion and garlic.
(Note: Put just enough water to cover the potatoes and cook down until the potatoes are tender.
The water will have a very cloudy appearance; do not drain.)
Reduce heat and add butter.
Fill the remainder of the pan with milk.
Simmer until milk is warm. Thicken slightly with flour and water mixture.
Add salt and pepper.
