Pasta Fagioli
Pasta Fagioli is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste, 2 (28 oz.) cans crushed tomatoes, 2 (15 1/2 oz.) cans white beans (do not drain), cloves of garlic to taste and 1 medium onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In large pan, simmer crushed tomatoes and white beans.
In a small skillet, add olive oil and saute onions, garlic and 2 hot peppers until tender.
Add paste and saute another 10 minutes. Boil Ditali until almost package time.
Only use enough water to cover when cooked.
Add paste mixture to crushed tomatoes and beans and simmer a while.
Then add Ditali, water and all to sauce and beans.
Simmer 30 minutes and serve.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
