Pasta and Creamed Prosciutto Sauce
Pasta And Creamed Prosciutto Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 oz. lean prosciutto (whole piece), 8 tbsp. butter, 1 1/2 c. heavy cream, 3/4 c. grated parmesan cheese and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cut Prosciutto into cubes, smaller than 1/2 inch.
Melt the butter in a large casserole over low heat. Add Prosciutto and saute lightly for 1 minute.
At the same time bring a pot of cold water to a boil.
Add salt and 1 teaspoon olive oil to water, then add pasta and cook to desired texture.
Drain the pasta add it to casserole
Prosciutto. Immediately pour the cream season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Gently ingredients together, then add the cheese.
Again; transfer a warmed serving dish and serve immediately. Serves 8.
