Parker House Rolls
Parker House Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. shortening, 1 tsp. salt or less, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 pkg. yeast and 1 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat water enough to melt shortening. Add shortening. Cool to warm. Add salt, sugar, egg and yeast.
Mix. Add flour and mix. Stir until it draws away from the bowl. Cover to rise.
Punch down and knead lightly; let rise again. Turn out on board and knead until elastic.
Roll out and cut or pinch off in rolls.
I also make cinnamon rolls with this dough. My favorite recipe, also my grandkids.
