Oyster Stew
Oyster Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pt. oysters (standard size), 2 qt. milk, 1/2 c. evaporated milk, 1/2 stick margarine and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

In saucepan, melt margarine.
Add oysters (drained), salt, pepper and celery; steam until oysters curly.
Blend milk together and add to mixture in saucepan.
Heat until hot...(do not boil). Cover and let stand about 15 minutes.
Re-heat if necessary. Serve with a dash of paprika and crackers.
