Oyster Casserole
Oyster Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine, 3/4 c. flour, 1 1/2 tsp. paprika, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Preheat oven to 400°.
Grease a 2-quart casserole.
Melt margarine in large pan over medium heat.
Remove from heat; add flour and stir until smooth.
Return to heat and cook, stirring constantly for 5 minutes or until light brown.
Add paprika, salt, pepper, garlic, onion and green pepper.
Cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add oysters and Worcestershire sauce.
Stir well.
Pour into casserole.
Sprinkle with cracker crumbs.
Dot with butter.
Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
