Oven Fried Fish
Oven Fried Fish is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. fresh or frozen fish fillets or steaks, thawed, 1 beaten egg, 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted and 1 tbsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Cut fish in 2 or 3 portions, according to size. Dip fish into beaten egg, then into bread crumbs.
Place coated fish in a well-greased, shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Drizzle a mixture of melted butter or margarine and lemon juice over fish.
Bake in oven at 400Β° until golden brown. Allow 5 to 6 minutes for each 1/2-inch of thickness.
Makes 3 servings.
Freeze leftover portions.
