Oven Baked French Toast
Oven Baked French Toast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 loaf french bread (or thick sliced), 1 c. light brown sugar, 1/2 c. margarine, 2 tsp. corn syrup and 6 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Place sugar, butter, and corn syrup in small pan and cook until syrupy.
Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
Slice French bread 3/4 inches thick and arrange in pan over syrup mixture.
Beat together eggs, milk, and vanilla flavoring.
Pour over bread.
Cover dish and refrigerate overnight.
Bake uncovered at 350-375Β° for 40-45 minutes.
This makes its own syrup, but it can also be served with additional maple syrup.
