Orange Meringue Pie
Orange Meringue Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/2 c. hot water, 1 c. orange juice (unstrained) and 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix sugar, cornstarch and hot water in a saucepan.
Gradually stir in orange juice.
Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
Slowly stir half of mixture into slightly beaten egg yolks, then beat into rest of mixture in saucepot.
Boil 1 minute longer, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Blend in butter, lemon juice and rind.
Pour in baked pie shell.
Cover with meringue.
Bake in a 400Β° oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
