Orange-Cranberry Bread
Orange-Cranberry Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. coarsely ground cranberries, 2 c. flour, 1 1/4 c. sugar, 1 orange (juice and rind) and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Mix cranberries with 1/4 cup of the sugar and put aside.
Put orange through the food chopper.
Put juice and rind in measuring cup and fill with boiling water to make 1 cup.
Add the butter, egg and sifted dry ingredients; mix well.
Fold in nuts and cranberries; pour batter into a well-greased pan.
Bake for 1 hour at 350Β°.
Cool on rack.
