Onion Soup
Onion Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 cans consomme (beef), 1/4 stick butter, 1 large onion, sliced and chopped, 1/4 tsp. garlic powder and croutons, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt butter over medium heat in saucepan.
Saute onion in butter.
Add consomme and garlic powder.
Simmer on low for 30 to 45 minutes.
Pour into soup bowls; add croutons and shredded cheese.
Heat under broiler until cheese melts.
