Onion Casserole
Onion Casserole is an easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. vidalia onions, peel and slice, margarine, ritz crackers (light salt) and parmesan cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Spray a frypan with Pam and add a pat of light margarine. Saute onions on low heat.
Do not brown.
Put a layer of onions (1/2 of them) in 8 x 10-inch baking pan.
Cover with crushed Ritz crackers.
Repeat with a layer of onions and cover with more crackers.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top and bake, uncovered, at 350Β° until done, about 45 minutes.
