Old Fashioned Egg Custard Pie
Old Fashioned Egg Custard Pie is an easy dinner. Made with 4 jumbo (extra large) eggs, 6 tbsp. melted margarine, 1 1/2 c. sugar plus 2 tbsp. flour mixed together, 1 1/4 c. milk and 1 tbsp. vanilla flavoring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Separate eggs.
Whip egg whites until stiff; set aside.
Beat egg yolks and add melted margarine.
Stir in sugar and flour mixture.
Mix, then add milk and vanilla flavoring.
Stir to mix thoroughly.
Fold in egg whites.
Pour into an extra large (9 5/8-inch) unbaked pie shell.
Bake in preheated oven at 350° to 375° for 35 to 40 minutes or until does not shake.
Place pie on a heavy cookie sheet to cook.
Cool, then refrigerate.
