Old Fashioned Bread Stuffing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 large onions, 1/2 c. margarine, 6 c. crumbled day-old cornbread, 6 c. crumbled day-old sliced bread or biscuits and 1/2 c. chicken broth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Chop onions fine.
Cook in the margarine until tender, but not brown.
Add bread crumbs, broth, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning.
Mix well.
(If not moist enough, add more broth.) Makes enough stuffing for a 12 to 15 pound turkey or may be baked in well-greased baking pan.
