Old-Fashioned Bread Pudding
Old-Fashioned Bread Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter, softened, 8 slices toasted bread, 1/3 c. raisins, 4 eggs and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Butter toasted bread.
Cut toast into cubes and place into pan. Sprinkle raisins over toast.
Thoroughly beat eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, salt, milk, water and vanilla.
Pour mixture over toast and let stand for 10 minutes.
Combine remaining 4 teaspoons of sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over bread.
Place dish into shallow baking pan.
Pour hot water into pan to a depth of 1 inch.
Bake 1 hour. Remove dish from water.
Serve warm or chilled.
Serves 8.
