Old Fashion Rolls
Old Fashion Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 3/4 to 6 1/4 c. flour, sifted, 2 pkg. active yeast, 2 c. milk, 1/3 c. granulated sugar and 1/3 c. crisco, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine 2 1/2 cups flour and yeast.
Heat milk, sugar, Crisco and salt until warm (115° to 120°).
Stir until Crisco melts; add dry mixture.
Add eggs.
Beat with mixer at low speed for 1/2 minute.
By hand stir in enough remaining flour to make moderately stiff dough.
Shape in ball.
Place in a greased bowl.
Let rise in a warm place until double, about 1 1/4 hours.
Punch down and shape into ball.
Let rise 45 minutes.
Brush with melted Crisco. Bake in a 400° oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
