Oats 'n' Pumpkin Pinwheels
Oats 'N' Pumpkin Pinwheels is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, divided, 1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine, softened, 2 egg whites, 1 c. quaker oats (quick or old-fashioned, uncooked) and 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Beat 1 cup sugar and margarine until fluffy; mix in egg whites. Stir in combined flour, oats and baking soda.
On wax paper, press into 16 x 12-inch rectangle.
Spread combined pumpkin, 1/2 cup sugar and spice over dough to 1/2-inch from edge.
From narrow end, roll up dough.
Sprinkle sesame seed around roll, pressing gently. Wrap in waxed paper; freeze overnight or until firm.
Heat oven to 400Β°.
Spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
Cut frozen dough into 1/4-inch slices.
Bake on cookie sheet 9 to 11 minutes or until golden.
Remove to wire rack; cool completely.
