Oatmeal Scotties
Oatmeal Scotties is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and 1 c. (2 sticks) softened butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Preheat oven to 375Β°.
In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract (or orange rind) until creamy.
Gradually beat in flour mixture.
Stir in oats and butterscotch flavored morsels.
Drop by measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 7 to 8 minutes for chewy cookies or 9 to 10 minutes for crisp cookies.
Let stand for 2 minutes.
Remove from cookie sheets; cool.
Makes about 4 dozen.
