Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Oatmeal Raisin Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c.margarine, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 1/2 c. unbleached flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Preheat oven to 375Β°.
In a mixing bowl, cream margarine and sugar until smooth, then beat in egg and vanilla.
Separately in a larger bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt, then stir in oats and raisins.
Add butter-sugar mixture and stir to make a sticky dough.
Drop by the rounded tablespoon on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool slightly before trying to remove cookies from baking sheet.
Makes 4 dozen.
