Oatmeal Jelly Bars
Oatmeal Jelly Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. rolled oats (quick), 1 c. flour, 3/4 c. brown sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt and 3/4 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Mix well with fingers the oats, flour, sugar, salt and shortening.
Pat 1/2 mixture into greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Spread jelly evenly over the dough.
Sprinkle remaining batter over the jelly layer.
Lightly pat down the topping with your fingers.
Bake in a preheated 350Β° oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool in pan on a rack.
