Oatmeal Cornflake Cookies
Oatmeal Cornflake Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. shortening, 2 c. white sugar, 2 c. brown sugar, 4 eggs and 4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Cream together shortening, sugars and eggs.
Sift together flour, soda, salt and baking powder and add gradually to first mixture.
With large spoon, add and mix the vanilla, oatmeal and cornflakes.
Form balls about the size of a small hickory nut on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 9 to 11 minutes.
Do not overbake.
Makes 10 dozen.
