Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cake
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. boiling water, 1 c. oatmeal, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 c. sugar and 1 stick butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Preheat oven to 350°.
Pour boiling water over oatmeal and let stand for 10 minutes.
Add both sugar and butter; let butter melt. Add eggs and mix well.
Sift together dry ingredients and add to oatmeal mixture.
Mix in 1/2 of the bag of chocolate chips.
Pour into greased and floured cake pan (9 x 13-inches).
Sprinkle remaining chips and nuts on top.
Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
Top with whipped cream.
