Oatmeal Bread
Oatmeal Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1/2 c. warm water, 1 c. quick oatmeal, 1/2 c. whole wheat flour and 1/2 c. brown sugar or molasses, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
In a large bowl, combine oatmeal, whole wheat flour, sugar, salt and margarine.
Pour boiling water over all and mix well; when lukewarm, stir in yeast. Stir in approximately half of flour; turn out on floured surface and knead in rest of flour.
Place in greased bowl.
Let rise until double in size; punch down.
Shape into 2 loaves; place in greased bread pans and let rise again.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 40 minutes.
Cool on rack.
Brush tops with margarine.
