Oatburgers
Oatburgers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. rolled oats, 1/2 tsp. salt (optional), 1 1/2 tbsp. oil, 1/4 c. torula yeast powder and 3/4 c. cooked rice or bread crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cover oats and soy sauce with boiling water; cool.
Add all rest and mix well.
Form into burgers and bake, browning both sides, in 350° oven.
Serve on buns or in gravy.
Can be browned in skillet first, then put in a casserole in oven and baked with 2 cans mushroom soup, diluted with 1 to 1 1/2 cups milk.
Bake at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes, until mushroom soup begins to bubble. Serves 4 to 6.
