Norwegian Fattigman
Norwegian Fattigman is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, 3 tbsp. sugar, 2 tbsp. heavy cream, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. ground cardamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix all of the ingredients using enough flour to make a soft dough.
Roll out thin and cut in strips in the shape of diamonds. Make a one inch slit in the middle of each diamond.
Loop one tip of the diamond through slit to make the cookie look like a diamond with a knot in the middle.
Fry in hot lard turning once.
Drain well on paper towels.
Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
