"No Weep" Meringue
"No Weep" Meringue is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/2 tbsp. cold water, 1/2 c. boiling water, 6 tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In small saucepan, mix cornstarch with cold water.
Add boiling water and sugar and cook, stirring until thick and clear. Cool; add vanilla.
Beat 3 egg whites until soft peaks.
Slowly pour cooled cooked mixture over beaten egg whites; beat well. Spread on pie and bake at 350Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Let cool in oven with door open.
