No Knead Rolls
No Knead Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. yeast, 2 c. water (lukewarm), 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tsp. salt and 6 1/2 to 7 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Dissolve yeast in water.
Add sugar, salt and 1/4 cup flour. Beat 2 minutes.
Add egg and shortening.
Gradually beat in remaining flour until smooth.
Cover with damp cloth and place in refrigerator.
Cut off amount needed 2 hours before baking.
Make into rolls and place in greased pan.
Cover and let them rise 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Bake at 400Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes 4 dozen rolls.
