New Orleans Bread Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 loaf day old french bread, 1 qt. milk, 4 eggs, 1 1/2 c. sugar and 1 1/2 c. half and half cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cube and soak bread in milk and half and half.
Crush with hands until well mixed.
Then add eggs, sugar, vanilla and raisins and stir well.
Pour melted margarine in bottom of thick baking pan and bake at 350Β° until firm.
Let cool.
Cube to serve and put into individual serving dishes.
Serve with hot Rum or Whiskey Sauce.
