Never Fail Oil Crust
Never Fail Oil Crust is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. white flour (unsifted), 2 tbsp. wheat germ (optional), 1 tsp. salt, 2/3 c. oil and 1/3 c. cold water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Stir together with fork the flour, wheat germ and salt. Combine oil and water in separate container.
Stir oil and water mixture all at once into flour.
Stir until flour is all dampened. Divide into 2 balls.
Roll out each ball between 2 sheets of waxed paper until size for crust.
(To keep paper from shifting, dampen area where paper is placed.)
Bake shells in a 425Β° oven for 10 minutes.
Yields 2 large crusts.
