Never Fail Meringue
Never Fail Meringue is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 tbsp. sugar, 1/8 tsp. salt, 3 egg whites, 1 tbsp. cornstarch and 1 c water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix cornstarch with 2 Tbsp. sugar in small sauce pan.
Add water, stir and cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thick and clear.
Beat egg whites with salt and vanilla until soft peak forms.
Gradually add remaining sugar beating well after each Tbsp.
Add hot mixture, continue beating until stiff peaks form.
Spoon over your favorite filling.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
