Never Fail Angel Food Cake
Never Fail Angel Food Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 2/3 c. sugar, 1 1/6 c. cake flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 2/3 c. egg whites and 1 2/3 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Sift flour once and measure.
Sift sugar 5 or 6 times.
Put 1/2 of the sugar in the flour and sift 15 times.
Add salt to egg whites and beat until foamy, then add cream of tartar and beat until stiff.
Fold in sugar and then fold in sugar and flour mixture.
Add flavoring.
Bake at 375Β° for 30 minutes.
(I use pieces of wax paper for the sifting process.)
