Neckbones And Yellow Rice is an easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. meaty neckbones, 1 c. yellow rice (long grain converted), 1/4 large bell pepper and celery flakes, seasoning salt (lawry's), black pepper and 1 tsp. red pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Wash neckbones and put in a heavy pot.
Cover with water.
Add all ingredients, except rice.
Cook until tender.
Add rice and cook briskly for 5 to 7 minutes with lid on pot.
Lower heat and cook 10 minutes.
Make sure all of the rice is in stock.
