Nadine's Molasses (Stack) Cake
Nadine'S Molasses (Stack) Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 1/4 c. molasses, 3 eggs, 1 1/2 sticks butter and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream butter and sugar together.
Add eggs; add molasses. Sift flour, spices and salt together.
Add to mixture.
Put soda in boiling water and add to batter, beating constantly by hand. Pour into 4 greased and floured 9-inch pans.
Bake at 350Β° until done, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Cool and stack together with applesauce between the layers.
