Mushroom Spread
Mushroom Spread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. coarsely chopped mushrooms, 2 tbsp. chopped onion, 1 tbsp. butter, 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cook and stir mushrooms and onion in skillet over medium heat until all liquid is absorbed.
Put mushroom-onion mixture, cream cheese, salt and basil in blender.
Cover and blend on high speed, occasionally scraping sides of container, about 2 minutes.
Add parsley and cover; blend 30 seconds longer.
Cover and chill 3 hours.
Serve with round buttery crackers.
