Mushroom Gravy
Mushroom Gravy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, finely chopped, 2 tbsp. oil, 2 drops butter flavoring, 1/2 tsp. pepper and 2 low-sodium beef bouillon cubes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Saute mushrooms in oil for 5 minutes.
Remove them from heat and add butter flavoring (you can substitute real butter or margarine, just add about 1/2 tablespoon) and pepper and set aside.
Dissolve bouillon cubes in 1 cup hot water in a separate pan.
Combine cornstarch and 2 tablespoons cold water.
Stir into bouillon and simmer until thickened.
Add mushrooms and wine, simmering for 2 to 3 minutes.
Makes 1 1/4 cups of gravy.
