Mountain Apple Cake
Mountain Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs, 1 1/2 c. oil, 2 c. sugar, 3 c. flour and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Mix eggs, oil and sugar; blend well. Sift flour, salt, soda and cinnamon. Add to egg mixture.
Add vanilla, apples and nuts.
Mix well.
Pour into greased 8-inch tube or Bundt pan. Bake 1 hour.
While cake is still hot, pour hot topping over it in pan.
Let cool. When completely cool, remove from pan.
(Check cake at 50 minutes with toothpick.
If it comes out dry looking, leave it out and it will finish baking with its own heat.)
