Mom's Stuffed Sauerkraut
Mom'S Stuffed Sauerkraut is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. ground pork, 1/2 lb. sage country sausage, 1 small onion, 1 egg and 3/4 c. cooked rice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix pork, sausage, onion, eggs, salt and cooked rice and make into meatballs.
Lightly rinse sauerkraut; layer sauerkraut, then meatballs alternately until all is used.
Add 1 cup water (pouring over all).
Bake or preferably cook on top of stove (until water is gone) with a lid.
Gravy can be poured over entire dish for added seasoning.
