Mom's Scalloped Potatoes
Mom'S Scalloped Potatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 lb. velveeta cheese, 6 to 8 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and sliced thin, 2 c. milk, 3 to 4 tbsp. margarine and 3 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Melt margarine in large Corning Ware type casserole.
Add flour and spices.
Stir and slowly add milk.
Heat over medium heat.
Add 1/4 pound cubed Velveeta.
Heat until thickened and hot, but not boiled.
Remove from heat when Velveeta/milk mix is smooth.
Add sliced potatoes, push down into sauce and mix well. Bake at 350Β° for 1 1/4 hours.
Serves 6.
