Mom's Homemade Bread
Mom'S Homemade Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. lard, 2 c. hot water, 3 1/2 tbsp. sugar, 1 tbsp. salt and 1 1/2 yeast cakes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix lard, hot water, sugar and salt.
When water is lukewarm, add 1 1/2 yeast cakes.
Let dissolve.
Pour 4 cups flour and mix, then add 2 cups flour, one at a time.
Knead until not real wet. Shape into balloon.
Let raise in warm place.
Then push down and shape.
Place in pans.
Let raise and bake at 400Β° for 15 minutes.
