Mix sugar, flour, nutmeg and cinnamon and brandy with melted butter.

Mix the mixture lightly with apples.

Place in pastry lined pan.

Cover with top crust; make slashes in top crust to allow steam to escape.

Seal ends and flute edges.

Bake in 425° oven for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 375° and continue baking for 35 to 40 minutes, or until crust is lightly brown.
